Best Man
Mac, Bryce's ultra-competitive brother, is the best man. He once broke someone's nose in basic military training, kicked a 3rd grader off of his baseball team because "he sucked", and is one of the world's best storytellers. When not in competition, Mac is one of the most kind-hearted people you will meet. He is selfless, bright, and is a wonderful role model to others.
Maid of Honor
Natalie is Shama's best friend. They met in 2011 by randomly being assigned as housemates during junior year of college, and their friendship only continues to grow as time goes on. Also, Natalie is the one that encouraged Shama to ask about Bryce during the early days, and then kept Shama sane as she was "patiently" waiting for the proposal. Not an easy task! Natalie is truly the kindest, most caring soul around!
Father of the Groom
Mark set the ultimate example. He's everything someone would want in a father - brilliant, supportive, loving, and a provider for the family. Mark's relentlessly high standards and complete disdain for mediocrity make him a perfect full-time (nearly) executive coach to Bryce.
Bridesmaid
D'Auria and Shama met and became instant friends by being placed on a project together at Cisco. Their friendship was further solidified over countless work trips that have taken them all over the world together. Although they live on opposite sides of the country, these two can't go very long without talking. D'Auria and Shama have always rooted for each other, especially when it came to what they called "Step 1" (finding their forever partners)!
Groomsman
Shaam, Shama's younger brother, once scored so highly on a college math exam the teacher excused him from the course entirely. He's that smart - seriously. Shaam will be part of the next generation that will actually solve many of the world's most pressing problems. But, he is also extremely warm and likes to give Bryce a hard time about the Sacramento Kings multi-year struggles.
Bridesmaid
Sophia is Shama's coworker turned dear friend. They supported each other through the ups and downs of their 20s, sharing many laughs along the way. Some of their most notable memories include downing 3 cappuccinos in the span of a few hours, pinging each other endlessly over IM, and going to Lady Gaga concerts. They are also quite the cooking duo; together, they make a mean homemade butternut squash soup!
Groomswoman
Priyam was one of Bryce's first friends as an undergraduate student. She could write a best-selling book about their many stories together. Priyam was also the brilliant matchmaker that coordinated Shama and Bryce's eventual relationship. She is kind, sweet, and a loyal friend. We owe her so much!
Bridesmaid
Sonya's not just a friend to Shama - she's family. They went from growing up in the same city and not knowing each other, to being coworkers at the City of Milpitas, to sharing a room for two years straight at UC Berkeley. They have a special friendship with many fun memories that include surviving four dead weeks, baking endless pans of brownies, and singing to Nicki Minaj (loudly and obnoxiously)!
