Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, our registry is on our website, which you have already been able to access, because here you are reading the FAQ section! 😀 If you go up to the menu in the upper right hand corner and click on registry, it will take you there. The registry is unique, it was created using our Zola Wedding planning app. So there are things on there from different stores, various options and such.

What is the dress code of the wedding?

Answer

It is a formal/semi formal wedding. Women please come in dresses or skirts below the knee or a nice formal ladies pant suit. Men please wear either a suit or dress pants and dress shirt with tie.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You may start arriving as early as 2:30. Pease be seated and ready for the ceremony to start by 3:00.

Where will the ceremony and reception be?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Filipino Community Hall of Salinas Valley. 250 Calle Cebú, Salinas, CA 93901.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

You may RSVP online or mail in your RSVP card, which ever works best for you!

Please RSVP NO LATER THAN Saturday, November 9, 2024. The sooner the better. 😊

Do you have any lodging recommendations?

Answer

I recommend to look on Airbnb or to book with any of the hotels in the area as soon as possible! Airbnb has a lot of very affordable options to stay in an entire house, or just get a room with bathroom and kitchen access. A few hotels that I would recommend are: Holiday Inn Express and Suites, Best Western Salinas Valley Inn, Comfort Inn & Suites, Quality Inn, Courtyard Salinas Monterey and Hampton Inn and Suites.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome, and we will be giving them age-appropriate activity bags, to help keep them occupied. There will not be a designated kid’s zone or childcare. Parents will be responsible for watching their children.

When should we expect invitations? Did we already get it?

Answer

Save the dates went out digitally in May and invitations went out in the mail in August.

Can I bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

Yes. Please include the plus one on your RSVP. A guest list will be maintained at the front entrance and no one who is not on the list will be admitted.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please indicate any food allergies or special requests when you RSVP. On the RSVP card, there is a section where you can include food allergies.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a big parking lot that comes with our venue and it has a fence around it. So there will be more than enough parking for everybody.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a morning after brunch specifically for the wedding party, family and guests from out of town. This way we can spend extra time with our out-of-town guests and family members.

Yes, the venue is wheelchair and walker accessible! ADA compliant.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire wedding, including ceremony and reception will be indoors at the Filipino Community Hall of Salinas Valley.
