Are children allowed to attend the wedding and reception?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion - except for the children in our wedding party. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

What is the dress code for the event?

Answer

We have chosen to ask everyone to wear cocktail attire...a dark suit worn with a tie for men, and a party-ready dress for women, such as a little black dress or even dressy separates like a skirt and blouse or classy jumpsuits. However, you are welcome to wear anything you can dance in! Get ready to have some fun!

Where are the bride and groom registered?

Answer

Having you at our special day is all we could hope for. However, if you’re thinking of buying us a gift, we would be grateful for gift cards, checks, or cash donations towards our future new home.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that all guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony, for it will detract from the photographer and videographers; however we encourage guests to post pictures of the reception on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #BECOMINGBURTON so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”
