Our story began on Salaams - a Muslim matchmaking site. Salaam is a muslim greeting, which at it's heart means "peace". Our courtship started about two years ago, and has brought so much of just that into our lives - it is what we had been praying for, Alhamdulilah (Thank God)! A prayer both of us made while looking for each other, and what Allah has granted has been: "Rabbana hablana min azwajina wa dhuriyyatina qurrata A’yunin waj’alna lil-muttaqina imama" ~ Quran (25:74) Translation: Our Lord! Grant unto us spouses and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous. Our journey has so many wonderful moments, but our bedrock from the very beginning has been Allah. We believed in His Omniscience, and Divine Mercy (Ar-Rahman) in bringing us together, and here we are! Please say MashaAllah for us ("God willed it")!
