We're Getting Married!

In 2023, Seth Thompson moves to Wyoming and starts attending a small Presbyterian church. The pastor of the church, a long-time family friend of the Iricks in Colorado, thinks of Mackenzie Irick, who had asked him a few years ago to keep an eye out for any young men that might visit his congregation. Fast forward to June 23rd, 2024: Mackenzie receives a message from her father, saying that this pastor has a young man he thinks would be a good fit and asks if she'd like to give her information. June 26th, 2024: Seth reaches out to Mackenzie, and after some witty text exchanges, Seth asks to call Mackenzie the next day. June 27th, 2024: Mackenzie and Seth have their first phone call. They quickly come to find that they have found a person that meets their wants and wishes in a partner and are pleasantly surprised with the ease and familiarity with which the conversation flows. Five hours on the phone slip away in the blink of an eye. Seth and Mackenzie have talked on the phone every day since. July 20th, 2024: After three weeks of phone calls, text messages, and FaceTimes, Seth drives down to Colorado to meet Mackenzie and her family in person for the first time! After a successful day, and a wonderful time, they decide to make their relationship official! July 27th, 2024: Now it's Mackenzie's turn to visit Seth! Mackenzie drives up to Riverton, Wyoming, and spends a weekend seeing his home, meeting his people, and getting a glimpse into their possible future together. While there, Seth takes Mackenzie to Frye Lake where they share their first kiss and "I love you!" October 13th, 2024: After a few fun and wonderful months of dating, Mackenzie travels up to Wyoming again. During this time, Seth takes her back to Frye Lake in order to take some "couples photos" and ends up proposing to Mackenzie! Mackenzie and Seth look forward to growing and deepening their relationship during this engagement period as they prepare for their wedding and the rest of their lives together!
