The Wedding Website of Serwaa Yeboah and Rexford Owusu-Ansah
Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Serwaa

Bride

Our mutual friends made an introduction, and we traded contact information. We began speaking and texting for hours and we later realized we had fallen for each other. Long distance relationship isn’t for the faint-hearted and as my beloved will jocosely tag it: “IT IS A CALLING!” and by the grace of God, we’re here today. I thank God for the many obstacles we faced together and the safe haven we intentionally created for growth and vulnerability. I love you Odo. Cheers to our I do odyssey.

Rexford

Groom

We met through a mutual friend. Falling in love started off mainly conversational to the point where we got deep into topics until her intelligence caught my attention. I also noticed we had a lot in common and that was the trick. On weekdays, we spend time on the phone from dawn around 5am gmt before she goes to bed while I prepare for work. Later in the day, we would check up on each other again during my lunch break while she also prepares for work in the morning. Then, we would conclude the day after 8pm gmt when I return from work. At that time, she would also be taking a break from work. During our interactions, we do our bible studies, we “gossip”, we plan, we catch up on our day’s activities etc . It’s been a difficult but worthwhile journey with my beloved. We’ve had several hiccups here and there but God has sustained us in renewing our commitment everyday. God bless her beautiful soul for believing in me and making this work and may the days ahead of us as a couple be glorious.

Adomaa

Maid of Honor

My sister, my inspiration 🥺🙏. Life hasn’t been easy with my family and Afia Serwaa Yeboah being the first daughter of my mother was a blessing and is still a blessing to us🥹. I know God gave my mum a daughter as a first child because she wanted her to grow and Yes! Mum did a great work with you and our family. You understand my feelings, you understand my cries and never for once did you judge me🥺. Thank you sister for being the awesome sister that my kid sister and I asked for. I love you a lot🥺. I really do love you. You stood by me when when my own parents got tired with some behaviors of mine. I make mistakes over and over again but you still correct me and bring me closer to you. I’m crying whiles typing this because of how good you are to me. On this day that a new chapter of your life is about to start, the good Lord will bless you and your husband. The good Lord will raise you higher among your equals. You are strong. You are wise and God will take you to places you never dreamed about. Today, I pray and cry at the same time over your feet . Your feet will never be delayed. Your feet will be ordered by the Lord. I declare that the grounds will agree with you as soon as you step on it. Blessed is the man that receives you. Blessed is the grounds you will trade on. I silence every voice that has cursed the grounds on your behalf. Your feet will land you on success. God will direct your path sister. You are truly my Role Model. I salute you. God bless you.

Bismark

Best Man

If you ask me how I know Rex or probably how we met then I will say I have known Rex from SHS days, that is where we became friends I mean very close,we are from same religious background ( Methodist) and that even made our friendship tightened. Akwasi from the time I have known him is a very nice person, focus, selfless ( But you can't take his leniency to be his weakness oo) and hardworking, he can go extra mile ONLY within his means to make others life comfortable. He can be very passionate too. He loves to sing, read and watch football. He does not joke with his christian life and because of that nobody can influence him to do anything outside his christian faith. There are many qualities I love about him as a brother and a friend but just to say, these are things I have known him for. I'm not saying these for him to look good in your sight as his girlfriend but truly and honestly speaking,he is the best brother I have known.

Addowaa

Bridesmaid

Growing in the Ashanti Region, children are taught that family is the best gift to everyone. The bonding, sharing of items, disciplining of wards by parents and elders really helped in the grooming of my sisters and me while growing up. I am Yeboah Menaba Addowaa, the youngest sister of the bride to be , Afia Serwaa Yeboah. She is the first child of Mr. And Mrs. Yeboah. Afia Serwaa has been a parent since childhood. In primary school, she would wake me up early in the morning to catch the school bus. She will prepare breakfast and supper for the family most of the time and assist mum with her business. She is also good academically and has gained many awards since primary. I look up to her as a great mentor. By God’s grace and the best decisions that she has always made, she has never let us down. Our parents, sisters, everyone she has helped out there is grateful to her for not letting us down. I love you Sistriee and I wish you the very best in your new home. Thanks for always putting us first.

Francis

Groomsman

I've known Rex for at least 18 years(2005) thus we used to meet at church but i was less sociable so I wasn't interacting with people that much. Besides, we're all from the same town. We got to know ourselves well after SHS (2012) since we had similar interest and shared the same friend circles. We both went to UCC the same year, lodged at the same hall, both Ghamsu members etc. We spent time at the beach together, birthday parties etc. (I still have very old pics😂😂😂) lol. We both join the same choir and trust me, the dance is never boring with us around (+ Solo, a close pal of ours). We were both groomsmen during Mag and Solo's wedding, he was part of my groomsmen and have both been to several other occasions together. In short, he's more than a brother to me.

Bridesmaid

The world certainly needs more people like Afia Serwaa. Your determination and seriousness is one of a kind. You are so selfless and generous and that is why I believe you have so many lovely people around you. The first time you walked into our room, although I knew you were a tough girl, there was this thing about you I couldn't pin point but I knew you were going to be in my life forever. I’m so glad our paths crossed because I can't imagine my life without such a super caring and thoughtful human being. Our memorable university days may be over but the beautiful friendship we have has just begun. Thank you for being one in a million.

Appiagyei

Groomsman

Afia Serwaa Yeboah, my wonderful sister, is no ordinary woman. I’ve never met one like her and I’m close to Godly sure I never will. There’s no heart more genuine. There’s no intention purer. There’s no life carefully crafted by God Himself to be a bright light, gentle spirit and the sweetest of friends to all who’ve been blessed to know her. Her nature is calming, loving and enticing. Most people try their entire lives to be as kind as Afia is. I mean who doesn’t have to try? Most people seek fame and validation, while she fervently seeks the heart of Christ. Most people pray for patience, it’s her gift. I say this to say, she’s a gift. She’s my gift. A gift I’m giving to you, Rex and I’m confident about leaving her in your expert, caring hands. With everything our family has going on, the time and attention Rex gives Afia is a blessing. You’re the only one who could make her draw those silly love emojis on paper😂. I remember one time I was on the phone with her and she had to cut me off cos you were calling. Hmmm come and see the mannerisms she used in cutting me off and I quote her “ Junior, please my beloved is calling so kindly hang up for me, you can call me tomorrow cos we’re going to talk for hours. Wonya wo de3 a na wode ab) tsaskele😂” I pray for the success of your marriage, the strength of the most faithful of husbands, that the fruits of the Spirit will be at work in you. Let God show off His glory, live in His favor and rest in His grace in your marriage.

Achiaa

Bridesmaid

I’ve known this tenacious and daring sister of mine since infancy. Afia Serwaa has been an awesome sister which had its origin from being childhood friends to sisters. We’ve shared memorable moments together throughout this journey called life. From sleepovers, to cooking and eating dishes together, going on visitations on our various campuses, sharing of clothes and anything real sisters will do. We are each others handbag which always cause people to take us for blood siblings 😇. She’s such a great person, caring, intelligent, all round lady and the personality of love is her composition. The story can have no end per my penning. In a nutshell, she’s the love of my life and this beautiful love brought my brand name “CUZLUV” which is our way of telling ourselves of how much we mean to each other. My Love 😍, I love you deeply. My Precious Bride To Be💞❤️‍🔥💛❤️‍🔥!

Groomsman

I met Rex some where 2012 at our SHS. We found ourselves in the same class in form 1 Arts 1 where we built friendship from there. We have established that cordial relationship to even our first degree at UCC. The least said the better, one of my close pals ever gotten in my life.

Ajigewe

Bridesmaid

Afia Serwaa Yeboah, as I passionately call her. I remember clearly how I first saw her picture in the potter’s gallery as a roommate in Republic Hall. I said to myself “ oh God, I’m dead. Which kind of “mpanyinsem” roommate is this” . Even your picture couldn’t hide it. But we ended up being the sweetest roommates ever. You taught me to always speak my mind and never to hide one’s feelings. As I always say, a roommate turn sister. I love you girl. Thank you for making me confident and knowing myself better. No one cross your path without learning that , sisters are just not by blood, but by bond. I will still choose you as a friend in my next life . Medowo Menua.

Frimpong Manso II

Groomsman

Getting along with Rex, even though I call him _“Mmire” - mushroom_ sometimes😂, was not a difficult one. The bond of our friendship was formed at the University, immediately when we realized both of us were coming from Kumasi and were on the same floor at the University hall in Cape Coast. Within matter of minutes, it felt like we knew each other over a decade. For ten years now, all I can say is, _“he is one gem of a friend”_😊

Ewura Esi

Bridesmaid

The bride to be is my best friend,my sister. We met in JHS when I transferred from Angel Educational Complex to Shalom Preparatory School. Afia used to tease me, worry me, we had a lot of sleepovers, shared our dreams and goals. Then we went to different SHS but still stayed in touch, we exchanged letters, she is also the only person I ever received a school tag from and that made me so happy, then to the same University. I really love the bond we have and how although we are different in terms of temperament we get along so well that now we are literally family. I love you bestieee and I am so happy to be celebrating this day with you. You deserve the best and I know that by the grace of God this union is forever in Jesus name. Love BFFAE❤️❤️
