We’re Getting Married!

It all began in the summer of 2009 when Taylor and Cody were just 12 and 13 years old. While at his friend's house, Cody overheard his friends admiring a girl named Taylor. Curiously, he looked her up on MySpace. Upon first glance of her profile picture, Cody thought "she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen". Without ever meeting her in person, he says "I knew then that she was the one". Cody sent her a friend request and Taylor accepted. Later that evening, Taylor received a call from a private number, which she curiously picked up and said "Hello?". Cody, who was on the other side of the phone, quickly hung up. The following day, Taylor went to the movie theater with her mom and her friend, Courtney. Attempting to be a matchmaker, Courtney mentioned a guy named Cody, stating that he and Taylor would be a cute couple. Taylor responded that ironically he had just added her on MySpace. The two would end up messaging each other back and forth, eventually leading to a meeting in person. The following night, Taylor went to Downtown Gardens with some friends and Cody met her there. However, Cody had a girlfriend, whom he brought along. Cody didn't want Taylor to know because he "didn't want to ruin things with Taylor". Cody looked down from the second floor and saw Taylor standing in the courtyard. He broke up with his girlfriend and proceeded to meet Taylor downstairs. The pair exchanged shy smiles and an innocent hug, destined to be together forever. Cody remembers thinking "she was even more beautiful in person". A few hours later, Cody texted Taylor "Will u be my gf?". Uncertain of the idea, Taylor politely rejected. But little did Cody know, Taylor had already fallen in love him at first glance that night. Instead, the pair met for a date at the mall the following day. Too shy to ask in person, Cody texted her once again asking if she would be his girlfriend. Without hesitation, Taylor said yes! The pair are now inseparable. And the rest is history!

On the morning of October 21st, 2018, Taylor awoke to an alarm, noticing Cody was gone. Shelby, who came to Boca to visit for the weekend with her boyfriend Drew, "found" a card addressed "Babe, 8am" and handed it to Taylor. The card had instructions for Taylor and her two best friends, Shelby and Nicole, to go to brunch on the beach. After finishing a brunch of pancakes and mimosas, the waitress told Taylor brunch was paid for and handed her a card addressed "My Everything, 10:30am". The card had instructions for the girls to go to the Seagate Spa. After a day of massages and relaxing by the pool, the receptionist handed Taylor a card addressed "Forever and Always, 3pm" with directions for Taylor to dress up in her favorite dress and meet her family for dinner at The Dive Bar in Jupiter. Meanwhile at Downtown Gardens, Cody, Drew, and Cody's dad had been setting up the proposal site all morning. While Taylor got ready for dinner, Shelby and Nicole went to Downtown Gardens to help the guys. At this point, Taylor had an idea of what was going on. At dinner, Taylor ordered the clams and carefully inspected every clam for an engagement ring, assuming Cody would hop out and propose. After a night of amazing food and drinks, the waitress handed Taylor a card addressed "One life, One love, 8:10pm", which read "...I can't let you see where you are going so your mom is going to blindfold you. A ride will be outside. I love you beautiful." A luxury SUV brought Taylor and her mom to a hotel, where she was guided out of the back doors to a bridge lined with a white aisle runner, rose petals, and candles with the rails decorated in glistening lights and photos of Taylor and Cody since 2009. The bridge led to a gazebo over a lake decorated with a "One Life, One Love" banner. With both Cody and Taylor's family hiding and watching from afar, Taylor walked down the aisle where she met Cody in the gazebo. He got down on one knee, proposed, and without any hesitation, Taylor said yes!
