We met in 2019 while we were both in graduate school, Sebastian at the University of Rhode Island and Jenette at Yale. We decided to go out for dinner on our first date one rainy Monday in August, and immediately hit it off, getting to the restaurant at 5pm when it opened, and staying until 11pm when it closed. Fast forward to March 2020 when Covid shut everything down, we decided to live together through the end of the summer until Seb started his clinical rotations. Over the next two years, we made it a priority to see each other as much as we could despite living in different states, but there was never a doubt in our minds that we wanted a life together. We now live together in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington DC with our two year old lab mix Millie. We can't wait to see what else the future has in store!
