Sean and Sasha worked together for almost three years before realizing they were the rightful match. As sociable colleagues for much of that time, they realized their close bond after attending a concert together. After a night in DC with their own personal pals, they formed a friendship outside of work. Weeks went by and their lives completely changed. Following numerous happy hours (frequent meet-ups at the Continental), Pippa playdates, and Sean's 28th birthday party they realized they could be more than friends. But, with Seans departure to business school just around the corner, they had a major decision to make. Without looking back, they jumped in with both feet and four paws. After two years of long distance, off to Chicago they went.. and the rest was history.

On a Sachdev family vacation in the Dominican Republic, Sean proposed! With Thanksgiving being Sasha's favorite holiday, it was the perfect excuse for the family to dress up and go to dinner off of the resort. On the way out, Sean whipped Sasha around at the top of the staircase where Seans mother Ann, brother Kyle, and Kyle's long-time girlfriend Coursey stood by with drinks in hand at the lobby bar. With perfect timing overlooking the sunset, palm trees and ocean, Sean was on one knee. Before he could even get a full sentence out, Sasha repeatedly replied yes, yes, and YES! With joy and excitement, the family celebrated at dinner. But not without many Facetime sessions with Sasha's family awaiting at home for the news.
