Early Arrival Muir Hike

Hiking attire

Dinner and drinks will be served following a Kelsey & Sean hike. Details, including a topographic map with elevation and mileage, to be added at a later date. Hike to begin at the Dipsea Trailhead in Mill Valley (https://goo.gl/maps/FYPjJBiN3EfCrcGE6), where we'll climb 680 steps as we start our 6 mile hike past the Tourist Club, down into Muir Woods, and back up. All guests are welcome to attend without the hike – if so, please plan on arriving at the Tourist Club at 4:00pm-4:30pm. Park at 30 Ridge, and walk down the driveway; or park at the Sun Trail and hike in! Please note – there will be *very* limited shuttle transportation available to those that need it from the Tourist Club Parking Lot. Aside from this, expect a relatively strenuous hike in and out (either a steep driveway or a single-track flat dirt path from Panoramic). We love this hike, and plenty of folks do it for Fests and events, but it's not exactly a walk in the park (well...kind of literally is? But you get it).

Welcome Dinner

Come celebrate before the official celebration! Dinner, drinks, and conversation in the warm late-Summer evening in West Marin – count us in! While a short drive from most accommodations in Inverness, please plan ahead for driving after dinner; there aren't a lot of options outside of a personal car to get to-and-fro.

Semi-Formal Farm Fabulous (have fun 😉)

Come celebrate as we tie the knot against a backdrop of our childhood backyards – golden grasses, soaring cypress trees, and a baby blue sky. This does mean that we'll be walking in fields and across dirt – please keep this in mind when choosing what shoes you'll want to wear. Following the ceremony, we'll toast some bubbly (including of the honey or the non-alcoholic variety), feast alongside friends new and old, and then proceed to dance the evening away. Transportation will be provided to and from The Cottages at Point Reyes Seashore in Inverness (which is also immediately adjacent to a handful of additional accommodations). A smaller shuttle will also be available for those in other areas close by.

Comfortable Layers

Expect coffee, brunch fare, and a little hair of the dog should you need it! Feel free to bring beach games, swimsuits (if you're brave!) and stories from the weekend to share. Note that we’ll amass as many picnic tables as we can muster - but this intentionally very casual ❤️
