Hubbard Park Lodge has limited parking. Taking a Lyft, biking, walking, or calling a taxi are your best bets. If you want to take the bus, it’s within walking distance to the Oakland & Capitol stop on the Milwaukee County Transit System’s Green Line.
It will be a hot summer day with time spent outdoors, so we're not going strictly formal. We'd like you to be comfortable and have fun. We'll have lawn games and possibly polka.
Thank you for wanting to give us a gift! Our house is 900 square feet. We play 3D Tetris to try to fit two dogs, two cats, and two people. (This may or may not violate the California nanny state fire codes on capacity.)
Our rain location is inside the Lodge.
If their names are on your invitation, please bring them. Generally, we are limiting kids to immediate family.

It is a painting of a California Black Oak by AR Valientien. We chose this image because Sean has gathered the acorns on his hikes, nursed them at home, and planted the seedlings on one of our favorite hiking trails. Valentien was also an American Arts and Crafts style painter, a style which we both absolutely love.
