If you're traveling with your dog, here are some tips and pet-friendly activities. 

Hotel: The Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach is pet-friendly, as are most AirBnBs in the area. 

Beaches: All beaches in Virginia Beach are dog-friendly before 9am and after 5pm during the off-season (which includes November). Head to the North End (any oceanfront beach entrance above 70th street) for all-day dog-friendly beaches. 

Dog Parks: The closest fenced-in park is located at Bayville Park, across from the tennis courts (15-minute drive from venue). 

Other Pet-Friendly Activities: Salty Paws (ice cream shop for dogs), Outdoor picnic at Taste Unlimited, walk the beach trail at First Landing State Park, Bayville Park walking trail
