The connection we made the first time we met was one of those "once in a lifetime" moments. Even after a whole day at the creek, neither of us were ready for our first date to end and we decided to watch a movie over pizza and wine to keep the night going. What movie did we watch? Well, neither of us remember because we talked so much that we played it 3 times in a row without watching a second of it. The friendship we started that night grew quickly into a relationship before either of us realized it (none of Dylan's friends at least were remotely surprised at the news when things finally became official). Since then our days have been filled with love and laughter, and the unquestionable support we've found in each other has allowed us to navigate life's challenges together. We got engaged on February 12th at the Phoenix Renaissance Faire. Sean got down on one knee in full leather armor and was definitely not wearing any eyeliner (just kidding, he was), and Dylan said yes under 3 layers of medieval skirts. Could that proposal possibly be more memorable? We think not, and we have pictures to prove it. On April 30th, we officially tied the knot during a small ceremony with friends and family. Our wedding was an incredible day and we will cherish those memories together forever, but we weren't able to share the day with all the loved ones in our lives.
