Our story begins back in 2005 in Colorado - though neither of us would know that until a fateful first date at Mission Taco in 2018. As it is with the small world of St. Louis, it turned out that Sean had partied with Cate's sister, Annie, and mutual CU Boulder/St. Louis friends long before Cate and Sean even met. Once that fact was established on their first date, it seemed almost meant to be! A couple years later filled with lots of family time with Chase, the Larson/McCorkles, and Pautsches, camping, floating rivers, climbing adventures, neighborhood football/baseball games, pasta sauce making, mule rides, home projects, gardening, trips to the farm, Santa Cruz, Colorado, a crazy dog named Lucille, and more, we were ready to tie the knot! Sean proposed in December of 2020 during a romantic winter mule ride and sunset toast. Of course things don't always go exactly as planned and both mules escaped mid-proposal. Not one to be fazed by much, and always ready to roll with the punches, as soon as Cate said yes, Sean went to collect the other mule while Cate took in the sunset, a glass of wine, and the joy her fiancée brought her. Sean had even arranged a socially distant champagne celebration back at the farm with friends and family. While we hoped to celebrate our marriage with everyone, COVID had other plans. We decided not to wait and tied the knot on May 1st with an intimate, 18 person ceremony at Seven Oaks Ranch. On September 28th, we welcomed baby Wyatt into the world. It's been a roller coaster, but we wouldn't have it any other way! Our wedding was rustic and intimate, so this round we'll be dressing up and getting down to celebrate our anniversary with all of you who we hold dear to our hearts! We hope that you can join us.
