Love is God, God is love

We met at a party back in 2019 at UVA. Scout was a student there at the time, and Beau had just transferred from the Air Force Academy to the University of Richmond. We had a mutual friend (DJ Pratt) who introduced us and we were both interested immediately. Long story short, we started to talk, and a year later (the longest year of Scout’s life), we officially started dating. We had a date night where we painted each other pictures and when we flipped our canvases to show each other, his said, ”Will you be my girlfriend?” (shown below). We’ve come a long way since the days of Beau carrying Scout through Charlottesville when she popped her achilles (shown below) and doing long-distance for a year as Scout started her nursing career in Atlanta. But when Scout started travel nursing in Charlottesville and we got to see each other more often, we realized we didn’t want to be apart ever again. The transition to living life together has been so easy and fun. We learn more about each other every day, and we can’t wait to continue our future together!
