Question

COVID-19 Considerations

Answer

We kindly ask that attendees be vaccinated for your and others' safety. However, we know that recent COVID-19 variants can also infect those who are vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated or if you are concerned about others' health, please consider (1) testing before traveling to the wedding and (2) taking a rapid test the morning of the wedding. Please reach out to Natalia or Scott if you have questions. We appreciate everyone's efforts to stay healthy and to keep those around you as safe as possible!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:00 PM sharp, so please feel free to arrive any time between 4:30-4:50 PM.

Question

What time does the wedding end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

We have the venue until 11:00 PM. There are no plans for an after-party.

Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

No, transportation to the venue will not be provided. From the 2 hotels with which we have blocks (Holiday Inn and Fairfield Marriott), it is an 8-minute car ride to the venue (2.5 miles). The venue has a large parking lot with free parking. Lyft and Uber are available if you prefer not to drive.

Question

Can I walk from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Walking is not recommended, as it is a hilly area and there are no pedestrian sidewalks. The roads are narrow and have uneven pavement.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight at the venue?

Answer

Yes, safety first! If you choose to leave your car at the venue overnight, you will need to pick it up by 10am on Sunday.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your children, this is an adults-only wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If a plus-one was not listed on your invitation and you want to bring a date, please contact Natalia or Scott to let us know BEFORE June 1st!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire! "So what does that mean??" It means that we want a dressy occasion where you can also feel comfortable. Dresses/skirts (of any length) or jumpsuits are lovely; jackets and ties are optional but slacks and button-up shirts are ideal. While we hope for lovely summery weather (sunny and possibly in the 70-80 degree range), the temperature at night will be cooler since we are near the ocean. The 30-minute ceremony will be outdoors and there is no shade. For shoe consideration, just a few steps on grass will be necessary while you take your seat. The Cocktail Hour patio is paved and there is shade, and the reception will be held indoors.
