You are still invited so don't fret! We had to spell your name exactly as you entered it in order for it to register you on the RSVP list. If we used your full name and you used an abridged (or vice versa) it will say that an entry is not found. If you can't find a way to register, please email us! We need an accurate count for the entrees (and they are tasty, so don't miss out)!
Homewood Suites by Hilton is just down the block and offers an affordable and close option to the Marriot where the shuttle will be picking up. Hampton Inn by King of Prussia also offers a good rate and is closer to the venue but a bit of a ways from the Marriot.
The hotel is 25 minutes from the Morris Arboretum. Parking is available for free or you can use a ride share app like Uber or Lyft to get there for around 15-20 bucks.
The Morris Arboretum is a garden owned by Penn. If you get there early enough (just not before 5 pm), please feel free to stroll around and take in the beautiful sites. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside in the grassed gardens while the reception will be in a tented area with a solid floor. Bathrooms are located by the reception area. A cart will be able to shuttle people who may have a difficult time walking distances. An arboretum, for the dictionary inclined, can be likened to an outdoor 'museum of trees'. More information about the site can be found here: https://www.morrisarboretum.org
Keep in mind that the entire wedding is OUTSIDE, and in July, that could mean a warmer evening. Any outfit you feel comfortable in is fine, but shorter dresses and lighter suits or shirt and tie are acceptable too! Comfortable shoes are also recommended, as part of the wedding is on grass and there is a short walk between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception that involves going up and down small hills.
The Morris Arboretum is a public garden that chargers guests to enter during business hours. You will be able to access the gardens for free after 5 pm, once it's closed to the public. You can stroll around the gardens from 5-5:45 pm before the ceremony starts. Some non-alcoholic refreshments will be available prior to the cocktail hour. It will likely be warm in late July and you will be mostly outside from the time you arrive up until the reception, so keep that in mind if you do decide to show up early. The guest shop is air conditioned and can provide a break from the heat if needed.
Just your pretty selves! But also consider something to shield yourself from the sun (it may be pretty hot in July) and an umbrella in case it rains.
Parking at the venue is plentiful and free.
Since we already have items for our home, we are doing a cash registry through our wedding website towards our honeymoon to Sardinia. Any amount is greatly appreciated!
