Question

Will the weather be nice in October?

Answer

Expect highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. October is not typically a rainy month, averaging only 5 rainy days. The welcome dinner is indoors with a porch overlooking the bay. The wedding is planned to be outdoors, overlooking a golf course...not on a beach. We do have indoor accommodations should there be rain.

When do we need your RSVP ?

Answer

If you plan to stay at either of the 2 hotels with Marsh/Moore room blocks, you need to make your reservations by September 25 to receive the discounted room rate. We need your golf/welcome dinner/wedding RSVP by September 29.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For anyone playing golf (or riding along with a player) - proper golf attire is expected. Collared shirts, golf shorts or skirts, proper footwear. Welcome dinner - casual or smart casual. Jeans/shorts are fine, sun dresses, etc. Wedding - Cocktail - Suits/Jackets for the men

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The Westin offers a complimentary shuttle between the hotel and the Port Royal Golf club. You do need to notify them prior to the wedding that you will need the shuttle. The Hampton Inn does have a shuttle that can be used with advance notice

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered and ask that you honor our request to allow your presence be our present. We appreciate the effort (and expense) you make to be with us and all we ask is that you bring warm wishes and a joyful heart to our celebration...and maybe a dance step or two!
