Maid of Honor
Sharea is Alyssa's closest friend. Sharea and Alyssa met in Washington D.C. They have stuck together through everything, including when Sharea nursed Alyssa after her wisdom teeth were extracted, which led to Alyssa's nickname "Chubby Bunny". Though now long distance, their friendship continues to grow.
Best Man
Mike is Scott's brother. He and his wife Katie live in Sacramento. Although Mike and Scott have a 13 year age difference, they are frighteningly similar in certain aspects. They are always there for each other and they share a sense of humor that is best kept to themselves to avoid legal entanglements. Scott is very pleased that Mike will be standing next to him on the most important day of his life.

Connie and Alyssa have been friends since middle school. Their love of reading, summers in Cheney, as well as their odd sense of humor have kept them together through these many years.

James and Scott have been close friends for almost 40 years. They grew up together in Sacramento. Although they live far apart, their friendship remains strong.

Alyssa and Elisa met at Cottey College. They immediately connected over their passion for social justice, international travel, and deep philosophical conversations over tea.

Marcus is a close friend of both Alyssa and Scott. Their friendship has been forged over many good meals, boundryless discussions and trips to Big Bear.

Elia is part of the American University crew. She and Alyssa connected when they both transferred to AU to study at the School of International Studies. Their friendship grew when they became roommates while in D.C. Even though life has changed drastically from when they were roommates, Alyssa and Elia's friendship has remained strong.

Ryan is one of the people closest to Scott and Alyssa. He's one of those people who is always there, through ups and downs. He is a stabilizing force in a chaotic world.
Bridesmaid
Caroline roomed with Alyssa and Megan when they transferred to American University. Caroline has always brought light, fun and laughter to whatever was happening, whether that was going to the club, studying, or just hanging out with friends. Alyssa and Caroline have remained friends even though 10+ years have passed since they were in college together.

Ian is Alyssa's brother. Besides their red hair, Ian and Alyssa share creativity and kind hearts. Ian is an absolute whiz at all things computer. Scott is excited to have new brother.

Amie and Alyssa's friendship has taken them across international borders including Italy and Ireland. They also bonded over their love of music, including a founding a jazz combo in college.

Paul is Alyssa's Stepfather. He has worked to support Alyssa through all her endeavors. From when she was a little girl, through college, and into her career Paul encouraged Alyssa to be successful and thrive.

Megan and Alyssa formed their friendship in their first year of college as roommates. That was just the beginning of their adventures. They continued to room together when they both transferred to American University in Washington D.C. They spent many of their nights together reading, drinking wine, and hanging out with friends.

Shannon and Alyssa got to know each other while working together in D.C. Over the course of three years as colleagues, Shannon and Alyssa bonded over nachos and crepes as well as deep conversations about everything under the sun.
