What Should I Wear?
Answer
Beach Cocktail Men can wear linen pants, sports coat or blazer or light colored suits. Get colorful with your shirt and creative with your tie. Please refrain from shorts, jeans, or sneakers. Women feel free to wear bright or floral dresses- of any length - it's up to you. As for shoes, avoid pumps, stilettos or any other style that will make you sink into the sand. Instead, opt for dressy sandals, wedges or shoes with a flat sole or chunky heel. Wear Sunscreen Prevent painful sunburns by wearing sunscreen on your face and anywhere else your skin is exposed, including your neck, arms, legs and feet. A nice pair of sunglasses can help protect your eyes. Pack Some Layers September weather is unpredictable and could be sweltering during the day and cool at night. Bring a layer or two to keep you comfortable as you move from the beach ceremony to the air conditioned reception, and for later after sun down. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be inside the Pier House with a view of the beach and ocean, so quite obviously, dress according to the weather.

Is There Parking?

Yes. Pier Village boasts 2 parking garages*. In addition to the parking garages, The City of Long Branch offers metered parking throughout Pier Village. Parking Meters are in effect May 1st to September 30th and can be purchased by downloading the Flowbird app at: https://flowbirdapp.com/ All day parking is also available is the lot in front of the Ocean Place Hotel. This might be the best option if its not raining for those planning on being at the after party. We suggest families and friends car pool. Please arrive early to ensure you are able to find a spot, as there may be other activities or events. Additionally we have hired a coffee cart that will be ready with hot coffee and cold brew as early as 10:45 for your enjoyment before the ceremony, so come early, catch up with family and friends, take a short stroll on the boardwalk or sand, or enjoy the view and ocean breezes from your seat. Should I get an updated Covid vaccine?
Answer
COVID-19 vaccine recommendations have been updated as of August 28, 2024. It is recommended adults ages 65 years and over receive a new updated 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine dose. Those 65 and older should receive the dose as soon as possible to be safe before the wedding It also states: "Everyone ages 6 months and older should get the 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccine. Are Children Welcome?
Answer
Although we love to watch the children laugh and play, this is going to be an adults-only kind of day. As much as we would like to invite all the children of our loved ones, we are unable to invite children to our wedding.

Can I Bring A Date?
Answer
Please check your envelope to see whom the invitation is addressed to. If it’s your name alone, there is no plus-one. If it is for you and a guest, it will say so. We plan on working extra hard on our seating chart to ensure those attending our wedding are seated with someone they know, or at a table filled with personalities who will make them feel comfortable and welcome.
