Our love story started as many modern love stories do… On a dating app, of course! Our strategies in search of love were a little different – Lauren curated a well-rounded profile that showed off her many interests, while Aaron just uploaded the last 5 photos in his camera roll which were basically just different angles of him on a wakeboard in Lake Powell... While not overly impressed with his wakeboarding skills, there was just something about Aaron that piqued Lauren's interest enough to find out more... As Aaron tells it, his strategy was simple: Start with a search radius of 5 miles from his house (for maximum convenience, of course) and slowly expand it one mile at a time until he found THE ONE. He quickly found that he needed to search a little harder & farther for his love. Little by little he expanded his radius until he found that magic number and stopped dead in his tracks when he came across the profile of Lauren Lee Marshall, 40 miles up the mountain in Hideout, UT! Even though they hadn’t met yet, Aaron felt like he knew her from her profile (Lauren’s strategy hard at work!) and he knew right away that he just had to shoot his shot! Naturally, he opened with a dad joke… Whether he nailed that joke or not is still actively up for debate, but clearly it worked! We hit it off instantly and when we finally met, it was clear pretty quickly to both of us that this was something special and different than anything before… could it be… Scollmates?! It wasn’t long before Lauren fell in love with Aaron’s humor, drive, thoughtfulness, enthusiasm and passion for everything he does in life, while Aaron fell hard and fast for Lauren’s smile, energetic personality, ambition, and the way that she cares about and treats the people in her life. We are so excited that we get to celebrate our love with the people that we love! We can't wait to see you all in #Scollsdale!!
