Trever and I were friends for a long time before we actually got together. We went our separate ways once we entered adulthood and were navigating our lives through all of the obstacles that were thrown at us. After going through those things in life, we eventually started talking and hanging out again. With our late night taco bell runs and sitting in our cars talking for hours at 4am, we knew that we had missed each others company. We continued hanging out, and of course going to taco bell, then he asked me to be his girlfriend. On October 4th, 2021 Trever went on a mission to not one, but three different stores to find everything he needed to make this night perfect. He sprinkled rose petals all over the living room, lit candles, put on romantic music, placed the roses he got me and wrote me a note that said “I love you with all my heart. You’re my best friend. Now I want you to be my girlfriend. Make my dreams a reality”. I of course said Yes! A few months later little did we know that we would be entering a new journey in life together as parents. We welcomed our sweet baby boy, Cayden Lee McKenzie on July 19, 2022. He has truly been a blessing in our lives and has helped us grow together as partners and as parents. I love for each other grew even more as we raised Cayden day by day and realize that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other

On December 10, 2022, we went out to celebrate Trever’s birthday with our family at a fancy restaurant in Columbus and went to see Christmas lights afterward. Surrounded by all of our family in front of a giant Christmas tree, trever asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! How could I not? We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in May!
