General Washington and his army stayed at Valley Forge during the long winter of 1777-78. Today, the park extends over 3,500 acres of rolling hills and is home to 20 miles of trails and countless monuments. This is one of our favorite local places to hike, picnic, and explore. It’s where we had one of our very first dates - and where our wedding venue is!
