We met during the throes of Covid-19, both of us working for The Fresh Market. I was the one to approach him and offered to help him at work should he ever need it. He took me up on my offer and soon enough we started to become friends. On December 5th, 2020, Jacob asked "Will you be my Pre Wife?" to which I said "Yes". Exactly three years later, we will say "I Do".

Jacob and I fell in love with Palmettos on the Bayou after a spur of the moment choice that led to the most beautiful date night ever. On June 12th, 2022, one day short of being a year since that romantic dinner, Jacob told me to dress up and that he was taking me to a fancy dinner at our favorite place. After having an amazing dinner, he took me down to the dock once the sun began to set. We were surrounded by trees with an almost photoshopped looking pink and purple sky. Lights were hanging all around us and the moon had begun to brighten up the coming night sky. Jacob asked me to dance. While holding each other close, and saying sweet words, he dropped down to one knee. He pulled the note I wrote and put in his lunch box that day out of his pocket. Inside my love note he pulled out an engagement ring and asked me to be his wife. My answer was of course, "Yes".
