Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you are able to. This allows us to plan ahead and ensure the day runs smoothly for all our guests attending. The last day to RSVP is May 1, 2025 using the RSVP section here on our wedding website. If you miss this deadline, we will assume that you are unable to attend. Please RSVP to let us know if you are unable to attend as well. If you have already RSVP’d attending, but find out that you will not make it, please contact Heidi or Brandon directly.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you, so get ready to celebrate!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love you to dress up with us. We are requesting semi-formal attire for our wedding day. We want the day to be sunny and colorful, so we encourage you to wear colours that remind you of summer. Think garden party - pastels, florals (dresses or dress pants and a button up).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accomodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please respect our wishes as we are trying to keep our wedding day an intimate celebration. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love kiddos, there are just too many loved ones that we wish to accomodate on our wedding day. Because of this, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event with the exception of a few key members helping with our special day. We encourage you to use this evening as date night!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we want to ensure that we know everyone’s allergies so we can best accommodate them for our special day. When you RSVP, there is a section to specify any allergies or dietary restrictions you have.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking as well as free overnight parking at The Lakeview if you wish to leave your car at the venue after the event.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are many options in the Hamilton area and nearby for hotels for our out of town guests. Please see the travel section for the hotels we recommend (they are less than a 10 minute drive from the venue).

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift to us, but should you wish to bring a gift we have made a Honeymoon Fund. Instead of a traditional wedding registry we are have a honeymoon registry where guests can help us save for the trip of a lifetime. Contributing to our Honeymoon Fund will help us pay for our dream honeymoon vacation to Disneyland in California and Disney’s Aulani in Hawaii. Please see the “registry” section to access our registry through Disney.
