We're (Finally) getting Married!

Welcome! We are so excited to share our special day with you. On this website you will find details of the wedding day, places to stay, our registry & things to do in Medora. Brandon & Allison met in 2015 on a double date. They spent the whole night being uncomfortably squished together on a couch watching The Knowing. Neither of them were interested in each other & figured they would never see each other again. In the summer of 2017 they ran into each other again. Brandon realized Allison was ~actually~ cute the whole time & he took interest in her by responding to one of her snap-chat stories. After weeks of Allison asking Brandon to hangout with her, he finally got over his nervousness & took her on their first date to Dairy Queen. They started dating on August 4, 2017. Soon after Allison moved back up to Grand Forks to begin her junior year at UND. The beginning of their relationship consisted of visiting each other on the weekends & many late nights of face-time dates. Then in February 2018 Allison moved to Australia to study abroad for 4 months. By the time Allison left for Australia their love was already so strong Brandon flew there to visit Allison for a week. While he was there he gave her a promise ring he bought for her while they were at an opal mine in the outback. When Allison got back to the states Brandon moved up to Grand Forks with her where they lived together for 3 years until they moved back to Bismarck in the Spring of 2021.

In March of 2020 Allison & Brandon had a vacation planned to Hawaii. Because of COVID they had to cancel their trip. Brandon already had the ring & was planning to propose while they were in Hawaii but now his plans were ruined. Allison still wanted them to experience a little of Hawaii even though they wouldn't be able to go. So to surprise Brandon, Allison set up their apartment to look like Hawaii before he came home from work so they could have a "Hawaiian Night". Little did Allison know this was Brandon's back up plan to propose. While they were laying in the living room pretending to be on the beach & that it wasn't blizzarding outside, he got down on one knee & asked Allison to marry him... of course she said YES!
