Gabby and Matt met in Pitt's fencing club originally barely acquaintances, but when Matt's previous relationship ended Gabby was among the small group of fencers that had his back. Always dependable to set Matt straight even if it's not what he wants to hear. Most likely to be be salsa dancing like a pro.

Emily’s best friend since kindergarten, which also happens to be the last time she and Emily were in the same height percentile. Former professional player of Pretty Pretty Princess, turned superstar dog mom.

Introduced to each other through their older sisters and bonded over their love for dogs, Emily and Jaimie have been best friends since they were 6 years old. May or may not have choreographed a dance to Geri Halliwell’s “It's Raining Men” with Emily in 10th grade gym class. May or may not demonstrate said moves on the dance floor come wedding day.

Matt was introduced to Phil when he became collateral damage in the midst of a Febreeze war between Bacil and Phil early into freshman year at Pitt. Since then, these three grew close and were repeated roommates. Time has not been enough to end their shenanigans.

Bonded through busting up freshman dorm parties when they met as resident assistants, Jess has been Emily’s soul mate since Junior year. Will always say “yes” to any plan Emily suggests based purely on the fact that they will get time together, including meet ups in Bedford PA in the long distance phase of their friendship. Candle connoisseur who might be caught sniffing pillar candles at the wedding out of sheer habit.

Sometime during Emily’s clinical fellowship in speech language pathology, Laura went from mentor to best friend. She’s the first person to boost Emily up and support her crazy ideas and plans. Per Cannoli gives the best tummy rubs. Won’t palpate your swallow during the wedding but is actively diagnosing you.

Matt's brother, formerly Matt's arch-nemesis. Best Super Smash Brothers Melee player in New Zealand. Frustratingly (for Matt) remains a quarter-inch taller than Matt.

Matt’s little sister and Emily’s friend and confidant; there is no girl’s girl quite like Alexa! Crochet and latke-making queen and Emily’s favorite hiking buddy on family trips. Very likely to make you a soul-moving playlist on Spotify upon request.

Caroline

A dime inside and out, Emily and Caroline bonded in the pit of their most cringe-worthy adolescent years and have been inseparable since. Since graduating high school, they have shared many life-changing adventures together, such as hiking and snow trekking in Montana, mingling at Walmart in the depths of West Virginia, surviving a single frat party arm in arm, and a rogue ER visit.
