Maid of Honor
I don't know if I have ever been as excited as the day Morgan was born- I was finally getting a real life baby to play with and boss around! While our journey hasn't been without its bumps (yes, biting may have been involved), we've also made incredible memories, like spending a month traveling Thailand together. Yet my favorite moments are the ones we still create: calling each other while driving or tackling chores and sending each other dumb videos that we can't stop laughing at. If you meet Morgan at the wedding, ask her about: Our time working at an elephant sanctuary (hint: it didn't go well), her crazy cat and the Christmas tree, or her sourdough journey.
Best Man
I’m honored to have my older brother, Ian, as my best man. From our unforgettable family trips to Hawaii and Marco Island to our time at Clemson, we’ve shared so many incredible moments together. Those vacations were filled with laughter, adventures, and the best memories that I’ll always cherish. He’s not just my brother; he’s been a mentor and a steadfast supporter throughout my life. I’m grateful to have him by my side as I celebrate this special day with Madison. Here’s to many more adventures together! If you run into Ian ask him about his summitting of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Bridesmaid
Forest and I first met in our college cafeteria (The Pit), a conversation that quickly evolved into a deep friendship. Some of my favorite memories include: Forest convincing me to take a break from studying for the CPA and meet her in Portugal, our adventures creating elaborate cheese boards, and long afternoons puzzling and playing Rummikub in Hilton Head. We even decided to move to Charlotte at the same time, and it has been the greatest gift to experience this season of life together! If you meet her at the wedding, ask her about: her annual September 21st party, her beautiful calligraphy on our invitations, or how many weddings she has been in.
Groomsman
I was fortunate enough to grow up in the same neighborhood as my cousins. I would ride my bike over to their house to play on the trampoline or video games. Even though Jack lives in NYC, we still keep in touch and go on trips together. I don't know many people can say their cousin is their best friend. If you meet Jack at the wedding, ask him about working in Japan for three months.
Bridesmaid
Kate and I met our freshman year and proceeded to live with each other the rest of college. Our friendship was a big part of why I chose to move to Charlotte during the pandemic, opting to live in the same building as her and Laura J and later moving into a townhouse all together. One of my favorite memories is our road trip through Iceland, where Kate played the role of tour guide, reading from the guidebook and adding her special touch to the adventure. If you meet Kate at the wedding, ask her about: her time in Argentina, my dog's obsession with her, or her rooftop garden.
Groomsman
Sam and I met at Clemson, and I knew we would be good friends. We ended up living together for 2 years. I have great memories being the third wheel to Sam and his now wife, Courtney. I'm so glad for him to now be by my side at my own wedding. If you meet Sam, ask him about breaking miller high lifes with a soccer ball.
Bridesmaid
I met Allie the first month of college and it was instant friendship as we navigated adjusting to college life together. Some of my favorite memories include: Allie making my bed for me and tidying up my room (thank goodness), eating oreos in her bed after a late night out, and countless trips to Boston, Charlotte, and Chicago keeping our bond close despite our post-grad separation. If you meet Allie at the wedding, ask her about: her love of Boston, her coffee mug collection, her Nantucket memories.
Groomsman
I've known Trevor since I was 5 years old. I went over to his house one day to see if he wanted to play and we've been great friends ever since. What started as building forts and riding bikes has evolved to having bbqs in his backyard with his two little kids. If you meet Trevor at the wedding, ask him about his new construction business.
Bridesmaid
I met Laura sophomore year of college, but we really became close living together on the sorority halls. I will never forget how grateful I was to have Laura as a study buddy during the CPA and MCAT. She was and always has been a ray of sunshine with a bottle of wine and snacks. I'm thankful for the ways Laura has maintained our friendship with check-in calls and trips to visit. Despite the craziness of med school and residency, she has always been there for me. If you meet Laura at the wedding, ask her about: Little Rock, her journey through residency, or her recent trip to Portugal.
Groomsman
Matt and I met at Clemson freshman year. But we really started hanging out more when we moved to Charlotte. Our friendship has grown through countless wine nights with his wife, Maya, and Madison. If you meet Matt , ask him about the current EPL season.
Bridesmaid
I met Laura through Allie, and was so lucky when she lived directly below us. Our close proximity met countless trips to The Pit (our cafeteria) where we'd spend hours laughing at jokes only we found funny. It was in those moments I realized I found my humor soulmate. I'll always hold onto our college and Charlotte memories. Now Laura is living her big life in Berlin! If you meet Laura at the wedding, ask her about: her love of space, her sabbatical in Asia, or her move to Berlin.
Groomsman
When I met Madison's brother, Luke, I immediately felt welcomed. He taught me to ignore anyone who said "Luke" until they clarified which one. I'm excited for all the holidays and family events to come. If you meet Luke at the wedding, ask him about how it feels having another Luke in the family.
Bridesmaid
Luke says I stole Maya from him, and I will happily say that I did. Maya made Charlotte feel like home. She's always ready to try a new restaurant, sit in a wine bar, or host puppy play dates. Some of my favoritve memories with Maya include exploring stadiums for the best food while our significant others cheer for whatever sport is going on. If you meet Maya at the wedding, ask her about: her trips to Champagne, her Shiba Inu, Pinot, or her recent book recs.
Groomsman
Christian and I met when I was 8 years old through Trevor. The three of us became great friends. We could lose hours playing video games, watching YouTube videos or making potato cannons. I'll also never forget our late night trips to Wendy's. If you meet Christian ask him about his most crazy case as an attorney.
Groomsman
Chris and I meet freshman year of college, and I was so excited when he moved to Charlotte. Our weekends consist of watching any sport- F1, soccer, football- or trying out a new Charlotte restaurant. If you meet Chris at the wedding, ask him about the joys of homeownership.
