Growing up, Nicole's family would shop for Christmas gifts every year at the Book Loft; and, if you let him, Christopher will buy every book in the store, making this 32-room bookstore a special treasure to the couple and to German Village.
Schiller Park
Provided it is not snowing too hard or icy, explore Chris and Nicole's neighborhood of German Village! Grab a coffee from Fox in the Snow or Staufs, walk around the park, and check out the beautiful homes and Christmas displays.
Lindey's
Nicole and Chris went to Lindey's for their first date! (Well, technically they were closed that date so they ended up at Local Cantina, but their first ~official~ date was at Lindey's)
Antiques on High
This bar is not only fantastic, and nor is it the coolest spot near Nicole's first Columbus apartment, but it is the place that Chris confessed to Nicole that she was the love of his life.
Grandview Mercantile Company
Love antique stores? This is the spot for you! On Labor Day weekend in 2021, Chris, Nicole, and her brother, Andrew, were out antiquing when they came across the jewelry section at Grandview Mercantile. Chris pointed out a beautiful diamond ring, which Nicole fell in love with, so he encouraged her to try it on. The next day, at exactly 11:11 a.m., on the two year anniversary of their first date, Chris bought the engagement ring.
