What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
YES! We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Our dress code is formal. LADIES can wear any length dresses, jumpsuits, or two piece formal attire. GENTLEMEN can wear a suit or formal attire. WE RESPECTFULLY ASK THAT NO ONE WEARS WHITE, CHAMPAGNE, OR CREAM:)

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be at The Place at 534. The address is 4230 Geauga Portage Easterly Rd, West Farmington, OH 44491.

Where should guests park?
Answer
When guests pull into The Place at 534, staff will guide guests where to park. There is handicap parking available and a golf cart will be available to those who need it.

When I arrive, where will I go for the ceremony?
Answer
You will be kindly greeted by staff that will guide you on the pathway back to the ceremony (outdoors).

Are kids invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us! We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one it will appear on your invite. Thank you for understanding!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend guests stay?
Answer
Since most of our family and friends live within 45 minutes of the venue, we do not have a specific hotel block. However, we do recommend staying at the hotels listed in the “Travel” section of our website. There are Airbnbs locally as well.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outside. Cocktail hour will follow the ceremony outside. If weather doesn’t permit during the ceremony or cocktail hour, it will be moved inside. The reception will take place inside.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We are having an “unplugged ceremony” (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!
