Nicole began working at PF Changs in the Fall of 2010. This was just a part-time job while in college at UAB. Aaron joined the team in July of 2011 thanks to some friends of his for talking him into it! Quickly, Nicole noticed how good looking Aaron was, but he seemed to pay her no attention. Aaron had recently gotten out of a relationship and was thinking NOTHING of another one. Nicole waited patiently for him to enjoy his single life, and just became friends. In October 2011, Nicole made the first move and asked Aaron out after a Halloween party. Their first date was Al's right on UAB's campus! This was Nicole's favorite spot! Aaron joined Nicole and her BFF Alyssa for late night BBQ bakers and hit it off instantly! The two have been inseparable ever since. Their relationship became official in February of 2012 <3

Nicole and Aaron new very quickly that God brought them together for a reason. They were perfect for one another and enjoyed going through life together. Marriage was an open conversation that happened often. They knew it would happen but they needed to wait for a few things to be settled first. In Fall of 2015, Nicole was getting impatient...and sending tons of hints! FINALLY, Aaron took her to look at rings to see what their budget was and what kind of style Nicole liked. He told her that he wanted to wait until he could pay for it in full, but he actually bought the ring she fell in love with that day! Before ring shopping, Nicole and Alyssa had made plans to visit the pumpkin patch together with their men for the Fall season and to get some pumpkins for carving. This was all Nicole's idea...or so she thought. Alyssa sneakily planned and persuaded Nicole's thoughts and decisions for this adventure. All the while, Aaron was carving pumpkins with letters to spell out "Will you Marry Me?" The two couples explored the pumpkin patch and picked out the perfect pumpkins. Aaron led Nicole to the setup of pumpkins and hay bales where two other friends, Emily and Kylie, were hiding and videotaping. As soon as Nicole saw the scene she froze. Aaron got down on one knee, shared a heart warming speech professing his love for Nicole and asked her to marry him. Of course she said YES!
