Sydnie and I have known each other quite a long time now. To be exact, we've known each other since the second grade when we had Mrs. Price's class together. While Sydnie is adamant that we were friends and I was smitten, I honestly do not recall much before middle school. Skipping forward a bit, Syd and I became closer friends in the later years of high school through a mutual friend group and thankfully we both decided to stay in Lubbock a little longer to attend college at Texas Tech University. Through the first few semesters, our friendship continued to grow to the point I was convinced that there was something more, and if not, there needed to be. Eventually, the cat came out of the bag on a night out with friends after a Tech basketball game. Once we realized how we both felt for each other, it only took a few weeks to make things official about when the pandemic and lockdowns were starting. While that was a hard time for many reasons, I still think of that time fondly because its really when Sydnie and I fell in love. While we enjoyed the endless time to get to know each other on a deeper level and watch hundreds of movies and TV shows, we had a blast getting to do fun couple things for the first time after the pandemic diminished! Passing milestones together in life the last three years has been so fun and rewarding with Sydnie. After graduating in May of 2022, Sydnie and I were fortunate to get to take trip to Oahu to celebrate. On that trip I asked Sydnie to spend forever with me in the beautiful Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Gardens. Since then, we have been living and working in Dallas, counting down the days! We are so excited for what God holds in store for our future and we can't wait to share our big day with all of you!
