Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the reception (5PM on Saturday), the dress code is black tie optional. This means tuxes or dark suits for men, and formal dresses for women. You can wear the same thing to the ceremony (which is at 2PM on Saturday) as to the reception, but also feel free to change into your black-tie outfit following the ceremony and before the reception, since there is a bit of time in between. For the welcome party (7PM Friday night) -- wear whatever feels right! Anything from jeans to sport jackets, to casual dresses/skirts/trousers to cocktail dresses works!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at the Adolphus Hotel in Downtown Dallas. Please see the Travel section of the website for additional details.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Thank you for asking 😉. You can head over to the "registry" section of the site. Please, no boxed gifts at the ceremony/reception.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all the babies and kids in our lives, but the wedding day celebrations are for adults only (those listed on your invitation).

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Buses will pick up from the Adolphus hotel and drop off at Holy Trinity for the Ceremony, and then return guests to the Adolphus. When time, the buses will take guests to the Room on Main for the Reception (or you can walk - less than half a mile!). HOTEL TO CEREMONY & BACK 1:10 PM - Busses begin boarding at the Adolphus (on Field Street) 1:30 PM - Busses depart the Adolphus for Holy Trinity 1:45 PM - Busses arrive at Holy Trinity for Ceremony 2:45 PM - Busses depart Holy Trinity back to the Adolphus 3:00 PM - Busses Arrive back at the Adolphus HOTEL TO RECEPTION & BACK 4:30 PM - Busses begin loading for the reception at the Adolphus (on Field Street) 4:45 PM - Busses depart from the Adolphus to the Room on Main (note: this is half a mile and you are also welcome to walk!) 10:15 PM - Busses depart from the Room on Main back to the Adolphus (note: this is half a mile and you are also welcome to walk!)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is a free parking lot at Holy Trinity, and for the reception there is a parking garage (2000 Elm St, Dallas, TX 75201) which is across the street from the Room on Main. When you enter the reception you will get a parking ticket that allows you to leave the garage for free.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, for the reception. If you are gluten free or vegetarian, please choose this option when you RSVP.
