In 2018 SaVaughn & Dodzi met randomly at the grocery store. Dodzi always jokes and says “Little did SaVaughn know, she was really coming to the store to get me”. SaVaughn was a little mean, but that did not stop Dodzi from pursuing her. He walked up to her, got her number and they began texting that day. They went on their first date two days later. While on that date, their interest in one another grew. Who knew that this guy from Accra, Ghana and this woman from Syracuse, NY would have so much in common! From music, food, mindset and much more, they got closer and closer with each day and eventually made it official and began exclusively dating. The two enjoy listening afrobeats, going to concerts, games and love to travel together. They purchased their first home together in 2021 and welcomed a new baby girl into the world in April 2022. Their bond couldn’t be stronger. Throughout their 5 year relationship, they have loved, traveled, danced, explored, grown together and now will become one unit.
