Flights
The easiest place to fly in and out of is Charlotte, NC. It’s about an hour drive to Hickory, NC. We recommend flying into Charlotte. It is an American Airlines hub and by far the largest airport in North Carolina. Alternatively, you could consider Asheville, NC but it is a much smaller airport. The drive will take about one and a half hours. We love Asheville for its breweries and delicious food. Lastly, you could fly into Raleigh/Durham, NC but this drive will take the most time at two and a half to three hours, traffic depending.
