Why Annapolis?

Answer

Brendan graduated from the Naval Academy in 2015. Brendan's parents moved to Annapolis in 2013, and when Brendan brought Savanna home to meet his family for the first time, she fell in love with the downtown area, especially all the ice cream shops. So when the time came to decide on a wedding location, Annapolis was a no brainer! Brendan and Savanna are so excited to share all that Annapolis has to offer!

What weather should you expect?

Answer

July can be pretty warm (ranging from low 60s to high 80s) so expect to get some sun. However Annapolis is on the water so expect some amazing breezes.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Annapolis is very walkable, so you do not need to rent a car! All the planned events should be within walking distance of downtown, and shuttles will be provided to/from the venue! Any other places you might want to go are likely only a short Uber ride away!

What should I wear?

Answer

Ladies: Tea to floor length dress with summer vibes. Gents: Suit/Jacket with tie optional. Feel free to get creative with patterns/color.

What military uniforms should be worn?

Answer

Groom & Groomsmen: Dinner Dress Blue Jacket for the wedding & changing into a Tux or suit for the reception Military Guests: Dinner Dress Blues/equivalent if you desire. Not required by any means. We will be providing a place to change and store outfits if you want to change into something more comfortable for the reception.

What is the recommended travel schedule?

Answer

If you are coming from Seattle we recommend taking the Thursday am direct flight on Alaska that gets you into BWI at 430pm. You will have enough time to get into Annapolis, check into your lodging, and meet up with friends for dinner/drinks. Those coming from elsewhere, we understand everyone's schedule is unique, but hope to see you all at the Friday night Welcome Party!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are extending the invitation to children, however the venue is 30 min away from town. There will be a kids room with movies and activities. However, if your little ones wont be able to make it till the end we do recommend a sitter. Please reach out if you need a list of baby sitters in the area.

What do I do if I have food allergies

Answer

Please let us know and we will make sure the venue & vendors are aware!
