Located on the property where the von Trapp family settled in Stowe, the Bierhall is a great lunch or dinner spot. Reservations are recommended.
The Alchemist Brewery
Home of the infamous Heady Topper (iykyk). Outdoor beer garden open Thurs-Sun 11am-6pm.
Stowe Cider
Visit the taproom or garden for awesome craft ciders. We are obsessed with Puff Puff Pineapple and Shandy.
American Flatbread
Casual restaurant serving wood-fired pizza (up to NYC standards), craft cocktails, and local brews. Conveniently located right next to Stowe Cider, so it's the perfect post-cider nosh.

Arguably the best restaurant in town. Save room for banana pudding! Reservations are strongly recommended.
Butler's Pantry
Diner style breakfast in a historic house in the heart of town. Weekend mornings tend to be busy, but you can join the waitlist on yelp. Grab a coffee next door at Black Cap Coffee while you wait.
Woodland Baking and Coffee
Don't miss this delicious coffee shop/bakery nestled in the back of a shopping center. Check out their website to order online for pickup.
Edelweiss Mountain Deli
Want a sandwich? A snack? Cheese? Ice cream? Wine? Beer? Edelweiss has it all and if you're like us, you might find yourself in there every day. They make the best sandwiches in Stowe. Sean's order is a #8 with roast beef on a sub roll and Erin always gets a #1 with turkey on rye.
Stowe Rec Path
Walk, run or bike this 5.3 mile paved trail that stretches from Stowe Village to the Covered Bridge at the base of the road where the Sauchelli's live. Breath-taking mountain views and access to restaurants, lodges and local businesses make the bike path one of the most popular summer activities in Stowe. Bike rentals are available at Pinnacle Ski & Sports, AJs, Ranch Camp or Mountain Ops.
Shopping in Stowe
Stowe is full of boutiques, country stores, galleries, specialty markets, sporting goods stores and more. Our favorites are Laughing Moon Chocolates, Shaw's, Stowe Mercantile, and Dedalus Wine. For any fashion fiends, Well Heeled and Green Envy are musts. And don't forget check out the summer sales at the ski shops!
Auto Toll Road
Zig and zag your way 4.5 miles up to the summit ridge of Mt. Mansfield along the historic Toll Road, where stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains await you. Bring along a picnic or do some hiking while you're up there. Open daily 9:30am-4:30pm.
Gondola Skyride
Spectacular views await you in every direction as you take the easy way up Mount Mansfield. From the top you can access alpine hiking trails, or enjoy lunch at Cliff House Restaurant.
Stowe Farmers Market
Find the market every Sunday from 10:30am-3pm on the green between the Stowe Motel and Edelweiss Mountain Deli and directly across from Darkside Snowboards. We love Two Sons baked goods and Gizmo's pickles!
