Why so soon?

Answer

No, this is not a shotgun situation. We have been engaged since last October and began planning a wedding for last May. We realized that timeline was not serving our partnership and we decided to reschedule for a later date to give us more space and time to grow deeper as a couple and release the pressure of wedding planning on the time of being engaged. This was a hard but deeply important choice for us. When we looked at the calendar at the end of the summer we decided LET'S GO! We also had dreams of being married on a full moon evening and we will be able to do just that and avoid the Palm Beach season rush and cost. Mostly, we are just ready to be married to each other. :)

Why multiple celebrations?

Answer

We have loved ones all over the map and we wanted to be able to have more focused and intentional time with our different communities instead of one huge party that everyone travels to attend. We will be having a ceremony and celebration in West Palm Beach with community here and family and friends who are able to travel on short notice. Our Polk County celebration is a dream because we are able to have so many of my/our dearest loved ones present because WE ARE COMING TO YOU! Short notice plans can be difficult and we wanted to remove the stress or cost for anyone traveling to West Palm so we are coming to you to Imperial Polk County! Then we will make our way to NEW YORK CITY to celebrate with community there! Imagine Central Park... balloons, sweet treats, music, sparkling drinks, and lots and lots of love. This progressive celebration was all sweet Punkin's idea and we love it. As Adam said... " We are going on tour!"
