Yes, this is a gas station, but it has the best sandwich selection in town! Tom loves the Farmington and Sarah loves the Jefferson.
Tom, Sarah, and Wally all love the pastries (and coffees) from this local bakery. You can't go wrong with any of the selections, but Wally says you have to get the ham and cheese croissant.
We love this tapas restaurant and bar. If weather allows, try to sit outside!
Best Italian restaurant in Charlottesville!
We love having dinner at this mainstay restaurant in Ivy. It's conveniently located right next to the church where we will be getting married!
Tour Thomas Jefferson's main house and grounds. We also recommend walking the Saunders-Monticello Trail, driving up to Carter Mountain Orchard, and grabbing lunch at Michie Tavern to make it a full day!
Founded in 1935, Shenandoah features 105-mile long Skyline Drive with many scenic outpost along the way. Tom has enjoyed hiking and biking in the Blue Ridge Mountains over the years!
This is one of our favorite activities to do when we visit! Wally loves to run around the lawn and he gets a lot of attention from the UVA students!
We highly recommend walking the pedestrian mall in downtown Charlottesville. There are lots of great restaurants and shops to check out!
