12:00 pm
Welcome to our intimate wedding weekend! We want to do the adventures we love, in the place we love, with YOU, the people we love! In the days leading up to our wedding we will have an optional adventure agenda through two of the worlds most beautiful national parks--the Grand Tetons & Yellowstone National Park. We rented wedding caravans driven by yours truly (Scott and Sarah) to adventures and sight seeing. Optional cocktails, fire pits, & hot tubs will be part of the evening fun too. We will provide the transportation for the first 32 people who let us know they're coming early as well as lunches. Starting the 31st the wedding party will fly in, on the 1st we will meet at the Tetons Mountain Lodge (TML) & set off in our caravans. Guests are welcomed to stay in any hotel but caravans will leave from the TML, taxi as needed. For those who plan to only join the wedding itself and not the adventures--it's on August 3rd and caravans leave from TML due to vehicle limits in the park.
8:00 am - 8:45 pm
Day 1 of our (optional pre-wedding) adventures kicks off. Join the caravan at the beginning of the day. Transportation, brunch and lunch (minus dinner at the Blue Heron) will be provided. We will head off for rafting (safe for kids over 8 and elderly, no one is falling out of the boat), take a relaxed hike to Taggart Lake surrounded by the Tetons, and toast the evening on Jackson Lake Lodge at sunset. Caravan will end after sunset and return to the same place it started-- Teton Mountain Lodge. Taxi to the pickup point as needed.
