We met at a Christmas party at Nate's house where he used to live in 2021 with about 8 other guys. I unfortunately had no recollection of meeting him, haha. We then bonded and became friends a couple months later, and I was able to trust Nate as a friend with various things that were coming up in my life. I then surprisingly got a FaceTime one day from Nate, and he said, "Sarah! I am moving! I bought a house right next to you!" I was legitimately SHOOK. We then kept hanging out and joking around as friends all until one of my best friends, Andrea, had a birthday float trip in July of 2022. Nate and I just gravitated towards each other on that trip, and were always joking around with each other. By then, friends of ours on both sides started to ask if we liked each other, or said we would be cute together. By that point, I had developed some feelings for Nate. I asked him for clarity, but he said we were "just great friends". I then had him help me "fix my computer", which consisted of us hanging out and laughing and watching The Office for a couple hours. We continued to hang as friends for a month or two, until one day, he texted me before church, and asked to go on a walk that afternoon. I immediately felt my stomach drop. That night, I go over to his house, and he proceeds to tell me he has feeling for me and asks me out. A week later, we go on a date, and a week after that, we are official. It's been the most beautiful experience growing with Nate and learning more and more about who he truly is over the last year and a half, and I can't wait to spend forever with the greatest gift God could ever give me. :)
