About 45 minutes from Lisbon center, a beautiful day trip with two famous castles to see: Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira.
Praia da Ursa
An hour from the city center, one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. Prepare for a short (but steep!) hike down to the beach. (Also where Bridesmaid Sophia Witte got engaged to her Peter!) Stop by Cabo da Roca lighthouse five minutes away, the most western point of continental Europe.
