What is included?

Answer

Lodging, transportation from the Pisa International airport to the villa on Thursday night and Friday (pickup times TBD), and food and select drinks in the villa on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning.

Plane tickets, transportation to or from the villa after Friday, or food or drinks in the villa beyond Sunday morning.

What should I wear?

Answer

For the ceremony, we recommend semi-formal attire, e.g. cocktail dresses, suits (tie optional). No change of clothing is necessary for dinner. Keep in mind the ceremony and dinner will both be held outside (weather permitting).

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Temperatures at this time in Italy are typically between 64 degrees and 75 degrees. It tends to be a mix of sunny, cloudy, and rainy.

What are the lodging details?

Answer

Everyone will be staying in the private villa (unless they would prefer to rent their own accommodations) where the ceremony and celebration dinner are taking place. The villa has been rented for the elopement from Thursday, 10/5, through the morning of Sunday, 10/8. People wishing to continue vacationing in the villa with the newlyweds can do so until the morning of Thursday, 10/12 (just contact Sarah and Jesse about details and costs for staying beyond 10/8.) Arrival: after 4 p.m. Thursday, 10/5 Departure: Sunday, 10/8 (unless staying for a longer vacation with the couple) Address: Villa Costola, Fosciandora, Italy Sleeping arrangements: The villa has 11 bedrooms and 10 full bathrooms.

What about meals outside of the post-ceremony dinner?

Answer

The following will be provided: Thursday night: snacks and water. Friday: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and selected drinks (water, coffee, beer, wine). Saturday: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and selected drinks (water, coffee, beer, wine). Sunday morning: breakfast, water, and coffee.

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Please arrange to arrive at the Pisa International airport Thursday night or Friday if you are looking to be picked up by the rental vehicle and brought to the villa (contact Sarah or Jesse to arrange pickup). Pisa International airport is the closest location if planning to rent your own vehicle or take a train or bus. The Florence airport is another option, just slightly further from the villa.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If you arrive at the Pisa International airport on Thursday night or Friday, we will be able to pick you up at the airport and bring you to the villa during the predetermined pickup times. (Pickup times TBD.) There will be a rented vehicle available for group trips from Friday until Sunday morning. There is also a train and bus route and additional parking at the villa for other rental vehicles.

This is an adults-only event.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry, nor are we asking for gifts. We understand the time and money required to travel to our wedding, and appreciate this effort. Those who insist on a gift can donate to our honeymoon fund.
