We met at church when we were just teenagers, looking for new friendships. Something sparked between us from the moment we met. From then on for the next year we hung out every chance we got, every Sunday after church we would go to the movie theaters, it almost became a tradition. Throughout the year we grew closer and developed a close friendship. We were inseparable, Finally in October 2017 we decided we had more than just a friendship and we began dating. Our love Blossomed since then and In 2022 we welcomed our Beautiful baby girl Camila.

In early Summer 2023, Janssen went ring shopping with his mom and sister before we went on a small family vacation that weekend to Big Bear. Excited, Janssen wanted to spontaneously propose that weekend but was advised to wait and plan it more accordingly. Luckily a small road trip was planned two weeks later to take a family member home. This gave Janssen the opportunity to gather together our families and make the plan to get the proposal ready. As we were gone for the weekend and 4 hours away from home, our family members got everything together. On Sunday July 16th, we had a long drive ahead of us to get home suspecting to attend a birthday dinner that evening. As we were in traffic and on the highway our families continued to set up a beautiful proposal at our house. After a long trip we finally arrived home, abruptly Janssen jumped off the car while I headed down the street with my mom to get a forgotten gift for the fake birthday dinner, as a distraction. When I walked into our living room I was not expecting a dark room with a walkway of candles and flowers while Janssen waited at the other end. As he got down on one knee we could hear the excitement from our family and friends watching us as Janssen asked me to marry him and I said yes! We are now excited to go back to Big Bear with all our loved ones to celebrate our Marriage!
