Grayson and Sarah Kate (Skate) met in the Spring of 2019 at Wofford College. They became close friends by the end of the semester and wrote letters to each other during the Summer. When they returned to Wofford in the Fall, they took Introduction to Literary Study with Professor Patrick Whitfill. The poem that stands out the most to them is "Sunflower Sutra" by Allen Ginsberg. Everyday they would discuss what it means to be human and the greater psychological questions of the world. It quickly became clear that together they made each other more. They enjoy dancing, music, pets, video games, being outdoors, good food, and so much more. They love deeply and have strong roots with their community of family and friends. They strive to be genuine and authentic in all of their relationships and make others feels seen. Grayson and Skate are incredibly intentional with their love. They push each other to grow spiritually, socially, physically, and mentally every day. They are excited to spend forever cherishing each other.
