Wedding Party

Autumn Jacobs

Maid of Honor

Autumn and Sarah met in their freshman year of high school and have been best friends ever since. Autumn is the friend that balances Sarah out. They have the type of friendship where it's like no time has passed whenever they get together. Autumn has seen Sarah at her craziest (like when she insisted they tie their hair together in a knot), her best, her worst, and everything in between. She is the first friend to truly show up for Sarah in every season of life, and Sarah couldn't ask for a better bestie!

Andrew Steichen

Best Man

Born under the same moon, Andrew and Dave's paths crossed many years ago at the Robert C Hill Elementary School for the Behaviorally Challenged. Their friendship was forged in the fires of combat and remedial mathematics throughout 4th and 5th grade and they made it to middle school, where their companionship would only grow stronger under the strict supervision of Dr. Pepper and his heavy-handed prescription of Call of Duty Black Ops. Andrew was forced to relocate under the witness protection program to Darien, IL and the two would spend the next 4 years separated, but only physically. Their psychic connection created by this corporeal separation as well as common interests such as love of music and film photography propels their friendship forward to this day and shows no sign of stopping.

Lauren Bender

Bridesmaid

Lauren is the oldest of the Bender girls, and growing up, Sarah looked up to her big sister a lot. She did everything Lauren did, she wanted to be just like her. Today, Sarah still admires so many of Lauren's qualities: her sense of adventure, her spontaneity, her confidence, and of course her goofiness (at least when the Bender sisters are together - they're so weird). It's an honor for Sarah to have her sisters by her side for such a big day.

Nathan Carpenter

Groomsman

"Who is that?" were Nathan's first words upon meeting his brand new brother in the wee hours of May 15th, 1998. After being informed that this was indeed his new brother, Nathan immediately stepped up to the plate and completed his next 18 years making David the man he is today. There is nothing in Dave's life that he does not owe to Nathan.

Emmy Bender

Bridesmaid

Emmy is one of the kindest people you could meet. Not only is she a great big sister for Sarah to look up to, but she is also genuinely so kindhearted, caring, and compassionate. Sarah has always admired the way that Emmy sees the best in everyone she meets, and will go out of her way to make people smile. Sarah can't wait to share this day with Emmy, because she knows just how much Emmy cares.

Leahm Rodono

Groomsman

Rush could have written A Day in the Life but the Beatles could not have written Xanadu. Leahm will readily admit this. In fact you don't even have to ask, he will volunteer this information. Leahm and Dave have easily clocked the required 10,000 hours with each other to qualify as "Masters" of one another. At that rate, they should probably be the ones getting married. Probably would work pretty well too. Makes you think.

Faith Ritchie

Bridesmaid

Faith and Sarah originally met on Twitter since they are both probably a little too into Frank Iero, My Chemical Romance, and too many other emo bands, but they actually got together in person at Riot Fest in 2018... Sarah was covered in melted cheese when they met, it was a good time. Faith is one of those people who just has a contagious energy and laugh. Every time Sarah and Faith get together, they're running a million words per minute, goofing off, and cracking each other up. Faith is truly the life of the party, every time, guaranteed.

Konner Wilson

Groomsman

In the Winter of 2017, Konner found himself in a strange place, surrounded by strange, tall people. Then he got back from the hospital. After this traumatic experience, Dave took Konner under his wing. Expecting to nurse him back to health, Dave found something much more valuable. Friendship; and a companion for life. Konner taught Dave to love again, and to smile. He showed Dave the brighter side of life and turned his tattered and beaten flag to a banner of hope, emblazoned with a symbol of peace. Or something like that.

Veronica Randall

Bridesmaid

Veronica and Sarah met at Westbrook on the first day Sarah was there as a volunteer. Veronica ran over to Sarah, seeming so excited to meet her, and had an infectious smile. They've been close ever since, and Veronica has very quickly become one of Sarah's best friends. A true confidant, Homie V holds such a special place in Sarah's heart.

Colin Morgan

Groomsman

Known as the "Titan of Campus" to many, and "The Executioner" to a few, Colin exudes integrity and justice. His work at Aurora University begot a new Golden Era of education that continues to this day. But Colin will be the first to tell you: studies show that we work hard, but we don't play hard enough. Colin was lead pyrotechnics engineer, associate asset acquisitions officer, and security for many various expeditions and escapades. He's as sturdy as he looks, morally and physically.

Marie Christensen

Bridesmaid

Marie and Sarah also met at Westbrook, and bonded quickly over their similar dry senses of humor. Marie is the friend that does not sugarcoat things (in a good way), which a lot of times, Sarah NEEDS. Marie keeps Sarah in check while also being a very good support for her to rely on. They kind of just get each other.

Mark Krzeminski

Groomsman

Bandmate, confidant, shooter. Mark is a man that wears many hats, both figuratively and literally. When he wasn't selling fake Gucci at Lids in the Aurora Outlet Mall he was researching mythical creature sightings or writing poetry. He can hit a bullseye with a Nerf sniper rifle at 100 yards. Above all, Mark is a loving son, who keeps in constant contact with his mother, letting her know his every move.
