Hello everyone! In light of the global pandemic, we wanted to check in and let you know that your health and safety are our top priority. That being said, Curtis and I have decided to significantly reduce our guest list to close friends and family in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. We will be sending out more information soon to let you know how our changes will affect you personally. Please reach out if you have any questions!
The magic of Hesston College brought us together less than a month into our first year of college. Despite his bold mullet hairstyle, I still found myself drawn to him. We went on multiple walks around the Hesston Arboretum, discussing everything from families and hobbies to faith and future dreams. On the eve of our first date in early October, Curtis surprised me with chopping off his mullet. I promise that had very little to do with my feelings for him! We were smitten and made it official a couple weeks later.
We were both ecstatic for me to spend my fall break in Moscow with Curtis because this was the first time we saw each other in a few months. The day after I arrived, we walked around the Moscow Arboretum. Curtis picked a special spot at the top of a hill that overlooked wheat fields and clusters of red, yellow, and green trees. He asked a fellow vet student to lurk around the back to capture the special moment. Despite his supposed nerves, he got down on one knee, popped the question, and the rest is history!
