Sarah and Bryan met while walking their dogs Riley & Grover at Cove Beach in Stamford. Although the dogs steered clear of each other, Sarah was drawn to Bryan’s blue eyes and how he spoke about his family and growing up in Stamford. Their next official date was in White Plains, and for three months they dated from a short distance. Sarah knew Bryan was a keeper when he helped her move out of her apartment for hours, and then into a new spot a short walk away from Bryan’s place in downtown Stamford. They started to become engrained in each other’s families - Sarah absolutely loving the kid time with his nieces and nephews and being so welcomed by his sisters, and Bryan bonding with her dad and brother over sports, music and shucking oysters. That year they made a few trips to his family beach house in Cape Cod, went to Ft. Lauderdale with friends for Sarah’s 30th and hiked in Acadia National park to admire the peak fall foliage. Sarah was on a mission to buy a home, and her and Bryan moved in together in Norwalk, where they love to hang on their balcony, watching the boats and swans go by, with daily sunsets. Bryan recently achieved his dream career, becoming a Stamford Firefighter! Sarah supported him through the academy, and ultimately her dream came true when Bryan proposed shortly after his graduation, under her favorite weeping willow tree in a beautiful park, followed by a surprise evening with her loved ones. Sarah quickly jumped into wedding planning, and now here the couple is, very excited for all of their loved ones to celebrate together as they become a married couple!
