Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle alongside us!

Avery Festa

Groom

Sarah Tomes

Bride

Hunter Mott

Best Man

My best man. I met Hunter freshman year at Penn State Behrend, we lived across the hall from each other in the dorms. After freshman year we were roommates in an apartment and lived together for 4 years while we were at Behrend. Hunter and I have taken many trips together including many Cavs games and I went to Disney on spring break with him and his family. I have spent countless hours with this guy drinking and watching sports.

Catherine Tomes

Maid of Honor

Catherine has been my side for as long as I remember and so I couldn't have it any other way on my wedding day! Being cousins that are less than a year apart meant that we have done everything together. Some of my favorite memories with Catherine are playing in dirty puddles, wearing matching Hello Kitty outfits at Kennywood, and causing lots of trouble. Catherine and I are more like sisters than we are cousins.

Ryan Frankowski

Groomsman

Frank the Tank. I don’t remember exactly when I met Ryan Frankoski, we were often in the same places freshman year but, I remember we would eat lunches together a few times a week with Tony when our schedules aligned for a semester during Sophomore year. Ryan and I were both PSCM and MIS majors so we had tons of classes and projects togethers. We would often go to parties and play video games together in our college years.

Bethany Tomes

Maid of Honor

My sweet cousin Bethany, whom I love so much. Bethany has the kindest soul of anyone you will ever meet. I am so excited that she will be there on my biggest day. I have two favorite memories with Bethany. The first is the entire summer of 2016 where we spent basically everyday together. The next is when we were completely ready for the season two premiere of Stranger Things at 1am and we found out it actually dropped at 1am PT and we had to stay up for three more hours.

Anthony DiBenedetto

Groomsman

My guy, Tony. Fellow combat sports fan. I also met Tony at our freshman dorms at Behrend. Tony and I would hit the books together for our shared classes and play intramural sports. We also worked landscaping together for the summers between college years. Tony and I logged many hours on the clock goofing around and making the most of our summer jobs.

Emily McGuire

Bridesmaid

Emily, it feels like just yesterday I was a bridesmaid in your wedding. I cannot wait for your to walk by my side. Since we grew up together we have so many great memories together. If I had to pick my favorites they would be the entire RV trip, when you prentended to be our mother at the trampoline park and the worker asked us how to spell your last name and none of us knew it. My most favorite memory might be when we hiked in the desert and only had one bottle of water to share and had to abandon Catherine under a rock.

Mike Kovacic

Groomsman

My oldest friend. Mike and I met in 8th grade when he switched schools to Cheswick, where we graduated together. Mike and I bonded over playing Xbox together after school and riding the bench for our high school basketball team. We had gotten into quite a lot of tomfoolery throughout our high school years and kept in touch with near daily memes since.

Abby Ricci

Bridesmaid

Abby and I met when she came to CCA in the 10th grade. After high school Abby and I attended Carlow for our first year of college. I am so thankful that you were with me while trying to figure out college and living on our own. My favorite memories with you are Steve's class, making our commercial together, dancing at your brothers shows, and all of the times I had to hide in your room from my roommate.

Max Nigon

Groomsman

One of my closest friends. Max and I also met in Behrend’s freshman dorms; Perry Hall was a blast. We were both business majors and scheduled a lot the same classes, we would grind out hours and hours in the library together for upcoming exams. When we weren’t studying we were going to Penn State white out games or tearing up intramural flag football. Grateful to have this guy as a friend.

Trinity Festa

Bridesmaid

Trinity was only 12 years old when Avery and I started dating. It has been so amazing watching you grow into who you are today. When I found out my mom was pregnant I was so convinced that I was going to have a sister that I only picked out girl names. I was so upset when I found out it was a boy. I am so thankful that I finally got a little sister. I love hearing about all of your life updates and having someone to relate to that works in child care.
