Enjoy a Twin's baseball game at Target Field. For an amazing view, sit on the third base side and see planes taking off over the stadium from nearby Minneapolis airport.

BASEBALL GAME

One of the biggest lakes near the metro area in the Land of 10,000 Lakes! Rent a boat or enjoy one of the many lakeside restaurants, such as Maynard's or Lord Fletcher's.

LAKE MINNETONKA

Young Joni is a James Beard award-winning restaurant in Minneapolis. The wait is often hours long...but worth it! Our favorite pizza is the Tavern Pie with pepperoni, jalapeños, and honey.

THE BEST PIZZA IN MINNESOTA

Reid and I love to come here and enjoy the fresh air and flowers. We will often bring a book or meal and enjoy a small picnic outdoors.

LYNDALE PARK ROSE GARDEN

ENA, founded by chef Hector Ruiz, may have an Irish name but offers delicious Latin fusion cuisine. Our favorite "platos pequeños" are the anticuchos and empañadas.

TAPAS WITH A TWIST

After watching "Blown Away" on Netflix, Reid and I were inspired to learn glassblowing. Contact FK Art Glass for a private class in their home studio.

GLASS BLOWING CLASS

Where Reid and I went hiking for our "second" date. At the top of the bluff, enjoy beautiful views of the Mississippi River Valley. Bring a pair of good shoes though, as it is a short but steep walk!
